also found another alternative supplier of mountboard etc
(Colourmount brand rather than Arqadia) who were helpful and quick
- Renaissance Mouldings at Waltham Abbey, about 20 miles/25
minutes from me at Hatfield along the M25. I attach an excerpt
from their brochure - they charge £8 for delivery or free over
£200 but I just went and picked it up. They tell me CRA have gone
into liquidation (second time) as they were one of their customers
- Renaissance are a large importer/wholesaler of materials, but
are just as happy with personal visitors. They won't cut the
board to size though. They also gave me a swatch card which I'll
bring along to the club

From Michael Shaw: Bloom can supply a wide range of
boards cut to size. They cost £6.50 a sheet and that
gives 4 mounts at a cost of £1.63 each. This compares
well with the Daler Board that I buy from Luton which works
out at £1.50 a mount, but they do not cut them for you.
She can also supply the safety rulers at about £18.00 fro
the metre and £9.00 the 50 cm.

As a service to CACC Clubs and club members, the
CACC has negotiated favourable rates on two sizes of print box.
The standard print box (i.e. the THIN one) costs £23, and the
deep print box (i.e. the THICK one) costs £25. Other
sizes can be specially ordered; there is a braid handled
box that is 6 ins. deep.
Orders can be placed via e-mail with
Stan McCartin, either
for collection at a mutually agreed location or at CACC events
such as the Championships or Rose Bowl competitions.
